Mrs. Ulrich
I am one of the proudest members of the Fighten Texas Aggie Class of 2005. Whoop!! Yes I am an Aggie and I love the rich traditions and honors that come along with it. Some might say I'm in the wrong city, however I love Austin and everything it has to offer. I am also a very proud mother. I have, as all mom's might say, the cutest little boy ever! He makes me smile and gets me moving every day. I didn't know what my mother meant when she said I could love someone unconditionally, but she was right. I am extremely excited to be here at Gorzycki Middle School and I can't wait to enjoy my students. I love teaching English, but with it comes a lot of History, since it is also something I enjoy teaching. I have coached in the middle school level for three years and at the high school level for one. After finding out I was expecting, I put my coaching career on hold. I've enjoyed devoting my time to just teaching English.
I grew up among a family of teachers and or principals. I think that teaching is in my blood. I can remember growing up with my best friend and our daily "teaching" lessons we'd give. I was the teachers pet...I couldn't wait to get to school to write the agenda on my mothers board (along with the 2 other teachers :) ) My favorite gift was a large box filled with markers, chalk, books, grade-books, and workbooks (extra stuff my mom had). I would play and teach until I fell asleep. I have to say my dream came true and I am so very glad it did.
